You can choose orange, red, green, pink, etc to make the habitat for your cute little friends livelier. Remember however that colored gravel loses their color through time. For example, red gravel will eventually turn to pink and to dirty white after some time. But although the color wears off, the process isn’t as rapid as you may think.

You should also decide if you are going for a small hermit crab gravel or for the larger kinds. Small are fine since land hermit crabs won’t find it hard to dig unto them but larger kinds are also great since they can complement the look of your pet. Overall, it’s a personal choice.
